Square Enix has announced that its bringing Dissidia Final Fantasy, a fighting game featuring characters from the role-playing game series, to Japanese arcades.

Dissidia Final Fantasy, if you aren't familiar with it, was first released on the PSP in 2009. In 2012, it got a prequel and a remake rolled into one with Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. The new arcade version will feature much improved graphics and three-on-three battles.

Square Enix announced the game at the Japanese Amusement Expo, which focuses on all things arcade. The company also launched a website for the game, though it doesn't have much information at the moment. Square Enix also didn't announce any plans to bring the game to c onsoles for now.
