Due for release later this year, Sword Coast Legends is the offspring of a partnership between former BioWare developers and Dungeons and Dragons creators Wizards of the Coast. The standalone game will have a single player mode, with an original story line.
For those wanting a more faithful Dungeons and Dragons experience, Sword Coast will support asymmetric multiplayer in a "Dungeon Master Mode." This will let one player create their own campaigns or modify the game as the other players progress.
Sword Coast is based on the recent fifth edition ruleset and will be released on Steam.
