Microsoft's just-announced universal Windows apps will work on Xbox One, executive Terry Myerson confirmed Wednesday during a press conference at the firm's headquarters in Redmond.
Universal apps, as their name suggests, are apps that are designed for one platform that can run across a range of devices. In addition to Xbox One, these apps can work on PC and mobile devices.
Unfortunately, confirmation of the feature is all we have to go on at the moment. Microsoft's top gaming boss, Phil Spencer, will take the stage later today and will presumably talk more about it.
