Last weekend, Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson flew to his $70 million, 23,000 square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills to throw one heck of a housewarming party. We now have evidence of how epic the get-together was, courtesy of this batch of images from Rukes.

In attendance were gaming personalities such as former Blizzard Entertainment executive Rob Pardo and Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella. Pardo and Zampella are pictured above having a great time with celebrities Selena Gomez and Zedd, who also stopped by for t he evening.

Notch and Mo jang's other founders sold the company and the Minecraft franchise to Xbox maker Microsoft last year in a deal worth around $2.5 billion. Notch purchased the Beverly Hills mansion the week before Christmas, outbidding celebrity power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce.

He's since left Mojang. "It's not about the money, it's about my sanity," Notch said when the sale to Microsoft was announced in September.
