Bloodborne, the PlayStation 4 exclusi ve action-RPG in development at Dark Souls studio From Software, has been delayed by nearly two months.
Initially scheduled to ship on February 6, the Bloodborne release date has now slipped to March 24 in North America and March 27 in the UK.
The game's producer, Masaaki Yamagiwa, said the studio "needs more time to deliver you the best possible final experience."
Writing on the official PayStation Blog (US / EU) Yamagiwa wrote: "We were really grateful for all the player data and feedback we received from those who took part in our recent limited alpha test, and this extra development time will allow us to better integrate these learnings into the game."
Bloodborne is the latest next-gen game that will miss its release target, following delays to the likes of Watch Dogs, Driveclub, The Crew, Mortal Kombat X, Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield Hardline, The Division, and The Order: 1886.
Yamagiwa apologised for the delay and told fans to "look out for some exciting Bloodborne news in early December".
