Capcom announced today that its upcoming Resident Evil remake, which it calls the "definitive version" of the acclaimed horror game, will be released on January 20, 2015. Previously, we knew only that it was going to be released sometime in early 2015.
The publisher also confirmed pricing details for the Resident Evil remake today, revealing that it will sell for $20 across all platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The game, a high-definition version of 2002's Resident Evil REmake for GameCube (which itself is a remake of the 1996 original), was announced in August. The game will output in 1080p on Xbox One and PS4.

In addition to the Resident Evil remake, Capcom will release Resident Evil: Rev elations 2 in 2015 for consoles and PC. The publisher may also be working on Resident Evil 7, accord ing to a report.
