Firaxis Games has released the first major patch for turn-based PC strategy game Civilization: Beyond Earth, introducing a range of balance and gameplay tweaks, as well as a raft of bug fixes.
The update, which 2K says was a collaborative effort between Firaxis Games and the community, will be applied automatically the next time you boot up Beyond Earth.

The Beyond Earth Fall Patch:
- Tweaks to gameplay balance, including trade route yields, Sponsor Abilities, Health benefits, and penalties and more.
- Changes to combat unit costs and strengths.
- Improvements to UI, modding and multiplayer features.
- Addressed issues for players with 144hz monitors, and issues preventing achievements from unlocking for some players.
